Sony's E3 2015 Press Conference Highlights
Sony's E3 2015 PlayStation Experience
Though I wasn't fortunate enough to attend this year, here's what I thought were Sony's highlights from E3 2015.
Overall I found E3 to be quite underwhelming this year, especially when compared to the greatness of 2013 when the new consoles were unveiled. However there were moments that got me excited for the next year of gaming, and Sony’s E3 2015 press conference had most of those moments.
The Last Guardian was announced after 6 years of speculation and received a large applause; the game initially looks good and fun to play, though progress in the demo was slow and didn’t give anything away. Media Molecule were up next introducing their new project; Dreams. This game looks strange but in a good way, as you literally create your own dream and explore the dreams of other players. No Man's Sky still looks great, as it did last year, and the game that Sony closed with; Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End got it’s very own gameplay taster, which looked almost like it was taken straight out of a movie.
Other exclusives coming to the PS4 include; Ratchet & Clank, Street Fighter V, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Tearaway Unfolded and Until Dawn.
Among those games, upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight was again teased, as was Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Hitman, kickstarter Shemue 3, Destiny: The Taken King, Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Dark Souls 3.
PlayStation Vue was also announced, detailing that you can select specific channels on your system and pay for what you watch, without being tied into a package. This also looked cool, and as a Netflix subscriber I might be tempted to look into this if they include the channels I want.
Finally Project Morpheus was brought forward to compete with Microsoft’s partnership with Oculus Rift.

Other moments in Sony’s E3 2015 press conference that made me eager to skip the next 3 or so months included the moment where Andrew House announced that Sony and Activision were partnering. This I saw coming since they did this with Bungie’s latest game, however to say that PlayStation will be receiving Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s DLC before Xbox and PC is quite huge. Speaking of exclusivity deals PlayStation owners will also be getting bonus content for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.PlayStation Vue was also announced, detailing that you can select specific channels on your system and pay for what you watch, without being tied into a package.
